Spindle Fiber

It remains attached to the chromosome.

It comes from pole into the center.

The fibers run in between two daughter centrioles forming a shape of a spindle

ASTER

It is not attached to chromosome.

It projects out from the centriole.

The fibers radiating from the centriole form a star shaped structure.
