ANSWER :

The difference between Dicot Roots and Monocot Roots on the basis of vascular bundles and pith are given below :

On The Basis Of Vascular Bundles

When we talk about dicot root, we can see that any dicot root contains 2 to 6 vascular bundles. This type of arrangement is called hexarch type of arrangement of vascular bundles.

Whereas monocot root possesses more than 6 vascular bundles. This type of arrangement of vascular bundles in monocot roots is known as polyarch orientation.

On The Basis Of Pith

The pith of dicot root is very poorly developed or we can say that the pith present in dicot root is small.

On the other hand, the pith of monocot root is large and is properly developed.
