Answer:

Flora refers to the plant life found in a particular region. Involves listing of plants, it is botanical composition.

Fauna refers to animals found in a region.

Vegetation is the plant life of a region. It refers to the ground cover provided by plants. Vegetation is sum total of plant population covering a region.

Vegetation is described whereas flora is listed.

“Besides the normal flora such as wild garlic and natural grasses, the Midwest US has other types of vegetation, such as wheat and potato which are found in farms. The fauna includes small rodents and snakes.”
