Answer:

1.) (Weight-Upthrust)>0

Means Weight of the body is greater than the upthrust force so the body will sink in downward direction and the direction of force will be also downward.

2.) (Weight - Upthrust)<0

Means weight of the body is less than

the upthrus force therefore the body will float in the liquid. And a force will act on the bodg in the upward direction.

3.) Weight = Upthrust

Means the weight of the body is equal to the upthrust force and therefore the body will remain at its position.

If any external force is applied on the body then it will continue to motion in the direction of applied force
