✴The test for sulphate ion is done by using "BARIUM CHLORIDE ".

✴Barium chloride is added in the presence of dilute Hydrochloric acid..

Confirmation for the Presence of sulphate ions :

✴On adding the barium sulphate it gives a "WHITE PRECIPITATE ".

✴it conforms the presence of Sulphate ion..
