Features of Insect Pollinated Flowers:

 These are colorful, fragrant and rich in nectar.

 When flowers are small, they are clustered into inflorescence to become conspicuous.

 Flowers provide nectar and pollen grains to the animals as floral rewards.

 Other floral rewards are providing safe places to lay eggs to the insects. For example: flower of Amorphophallus.

 Symbiotic relationship exists between a moth and the plant Yucca. The moth deposits its eggs in the locule of the ovary and the flower in turn gets pollinated by the moth. The larvae of the moth come out of the eggs as the seeds start developing.

Note: Many insects consume pollen and nectar without bringing about pollination. Such floral visitors are called pollen/nectar robbers.
