The forefinger points to the direction of the magnetic field. The middle finger points in the direction of the current. The thumb gives the direction of force or motion acting on the conductor. Fleming's Left Hand Rule is used in electric motors which are used in fans, mixers, printers, etc.

Holding your left hand in such a position that your index finger ,middle finger and thum are perpendicular to each other, in such a way that your thumb represent the force, your index finger represent the magnetic field and your middle finger represent the direction of the flow of current.
