#Written in my own words. Didn't copied from anywhere.
Democracy is all about the freedom of the citizens to elect, to vote, to express e.t.c.
When democracy is overthrown, most of the freedoms are restricted.
Some of them are:
1. The basic freedom which gets restricted is freedom to express person's own views on something. The views now should be politically biased and should favor the ruling party. Otherwise one may have to accept the punishments.
2.Freedom of an individual to join or leave a group voluntarily.
3. Freedom to move anywhere in the country without taking permission from the government every time.
4.Freedom to assemble at one place to collectively express own views.
5.Freedom to show dissatisfaction for any government scheme.
and the most important one
6.Freedom to choose your career.
There are more, but I think these are enough for understanding the scenario.
