chromosomes are the thread like substance in out nucleus which carries genes , genes carries some chracterstics of our parents which are carried through chromosomes in offspring's body

chromosome are thread like structure usually present in the nucleus that become visible only during cell division. chromosome contain hereditary information of the cell in the form of genes.
