Answer:

The alimentary glands in human beings helps providing gastric juices and enzymes for breakdown of of the food properly. Further it also helps in in killing of germs present in the food. in every step the food is broken down by the elementary glands. starting from the buccal cavity The Saliva produced by the salivary glands helps in breaking down The carbohydrate partially into sugar in the mouth. Passing through the oesophagus, it enters into the stomach where the presence of hydrochloric acid kills all the bacteria and prevents from fermentation of the food. after that pepsin is released in the stomach which under acidic medium reacts with the proteins and break them into amino acids. after the protein is broken down in amino acids it passes to the small intestine through the the pyloric sphincter muscle. there the food needs to be in an alkaline medium to get further reacted with intestinal juices. for that bile juice is released from the liver which neutralizes the acidic medium and further breakdown the fats into fatty globules which is also known as emulsification of fats. now intestinal juices are released such as trypsin to break down the the remaining products, carbohydrase for breakdown of carbohydrates and lipase for breakdown of fats into fatty acids and glycerol. That's the end of the function of alimentary glands. Hope it helps you
