Explanation:

synapse are the gaps between two neurones where some chemical signals changed into to electrical signals. Association neurones pass the signals. medullary sheet is the layer of fat between axon and Swan cell. cerebellum controls the involuntary functions and cerebrospinal fluid is the fluid between meninges and brain which protect brain from external shocks

\huge\mathbf{Functions}

• Synapse :- synapse is the point of contact between the terminal branches of the axon of one neuron and the dendrites of another neurone separated by fine gap . It transmits nerve impulses from one neurone to another neuron

• Association neuron :- it is present in the brain and spinal cord which interconnects sensory and motor neurons

• Medullary sheath :- the axon is surrounded by white insulating sheath known as the myelin sheath

• Medulla oblongata :- medula oblongata is the lowest portion of brain located at the base of the skull . It is used to control the functions of the internal organs and involuntary actions such as breathing , beating of heart

• Cerebellum :- cerebellum is present in the hindbrain and its main function is to maintain balance and co-ordinate muscular activities

• Cerebrospinal fluid :- the space between the two covering membranes is filled with fluid known as the cerebrospinal fluid . It acts as a cushion and protects the brain from injury or shock
