Atmosphere is a layer of gases which covers the whole Earth. It consists of 5 layers. 1:Troposphere, 2:Stratosphere, 3:Mesosphere, 4:Thermosphere and 5:Exosphere.

Explanation:

Atmosphere helps in regulating the temperature of Earth. All weather conditions take place in troposphere and it also contains most of amount of water vapours. Stratosphere consists of Ozone layer which protects us from harmful UV radiations of Sun. Mesosphere helps in burning and blasting most of the meteors coming towards the Earth and protect the Earth. All the radio waves refract and recieve beyond the horizon only due to Thermosphere. Exospheres protects all other layers of atmosphere.

Atmosphere helps in overall climate change, temperature regulation, protection of Earth against meteors etc. Thus, it is helpful in many ways......
