Hey dear...

Your answer is.....

The key features of our Constitution are:

1) Federalism

2) Fundamental Rights

3) Secularism

4) Parliamentary form of government

5) Separation of powers

=> Fundamental Rights:

These are referred as the 'conscience' of our Indian Constitution.
Colonial rule had created a certain suspicion of the state in our minds of the nationalist and they wanted to ensure that a set of written rights would guard against the misuse of state power in independent india.
Fundamental rights protect the citizens against the arbitrary and absolute exercise of the power by the state.
The Constitution guarantees the rights of individuals against the state as well as against other individuals. Also guarantee the rights of minorities against the majority.
It has two fold. The first is that every citizen must be in a position to claim those rights. And second is these rights mist bring binding upon every authority that has got the power to make laws.

There are 6 types of fundamental rights:
1) Right to Equality

2) Right to Freedom

3) Right against exploitation

4) Right to freedom of religion

5) Cultural and Educational rights

6) Right to constitutional remedies.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
