1)For the corresponding ray and its reflected ray the angle of incident is always equal to the angle of reflection.

2)The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal at the point of incidence all lie in the same plane.

What is Refraction of Light?

➡The bending of light rays when it travels from one transparent medium to another is called refraction of light.

The two laws of refraction of light are as follows -:

(1) The incident ray, the refracted ray and the normal at the point of incidence, all lie in the same plane.

(2) The ratio of the sine of angle of incidence to the sine of angle of refraction is constant for the pair of given media.
