Limitations of the coulomb's law of electrostatic charges

1. The size of the object with the static charge is to be treated as a point of no size. It means that the law is not applicable truly in case of a finite sized (spherical) charge.

2. It is valid for static charges.  If a charge is moving then the law is not valid exactly.
