Lysosome help in intracellular digestion . 2 They work in defence against infection by bacteria and viruses by digesting them.      3. Lysosome help in the removal of worn -out cells , for example , when a cell gets damaged , they burst and the enzymes digest their own cell by the process called autolysis. Therefore they are also called disposal bags or suicide bags of a cell. 4 They help in recycling of metabolites for the formation of new organelles. Hence, they are also named as recycling centres

Answer:

lysosomes r called the suicidal bags of the cell.

Inside a cell, numerous organelles function to remove wastes. One of the key organelles involved in digestion and waste removal is the lysosome. Lysosomes are organelles that contain digestive enzymes. They digest excess or worn out organelles, food particles, and engulfed viruses or bacteria.
