Meritis :- 1. Air is easily available . 2. it is cheap . 3. weight per TR is low and hence ideal for aircraft refrigerator. 4. No leakage problem. 5. it is Non-flammeable and non- toxic refrigerator. 6. Low maintenance cost. Demerits :- 1.it absorbs heat as sensible heat only , hence mas flow arte required is more as compared to other refrigerator, 2. Low COP , 3. freezing of moisture at low temperature.
