2NH4OH+ FeSO4=Fe(OH)2+(NH4)2SO4
Fe(OH)2 is a dirty green ppt.
3NH4OH+AlCl3=A(OH)3+3NH4Cl
Al(OH)3 is a white ppt.

Explanation:

1) FeSO₄ + 2NH₄OH → Fe(OH)₂ + (NH₄)₂SO₄

When ferrous sulphate reacts with ammonium hydroxide dirty green precipitate of  Fe(OH)₂ is formed.

2) When aluminum chloride reacts with ammonium hydroxide a gelatinous white precipitate of aluminum hydroxide is formed.

AlCl₃ + 3NH₄OH → Al(OH)₃ + 3NH₄Cl
