Never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection. You can seriously hurt your eyes, and even go blind.

Precautions to be taken for viewing Partial or total lunar eclipse:
1 Do not watch solar eclipse directly because the sun's UV radiation can burn the retina in the eyes leading to permanent damage or blindness.
2. Always use or wear eclipse glasses
3. You can use telescope to watch solar eclipse.
4.Don't use X-ray film, any kind of local sunglasses, smoked glass piece.
5. Use filter's specially designed to protect the eyes and safe solar viewing for eg: shade number 14 welder's glasses.
