temperature decreases with altitude and so pressure also decreases. temp and pressure are responsible for the change in state

1. The relation between Temperature and Altitude
→Temperature decreases with increase in height till troposphere.
→After troposphere temperature increases with increase in altitude up to mesosphere.
→After mesosphere, the temperature again decreases with increase in altitude up to the outermost layer of our atmosphere.
→After that temperature increases with increase in altitude.
2. The relation between pressure and altitude
always decreases with increase in altitude
