CHANGE IN MOMENTUM IS DIRECTLY PROPTIONAL TO THE FORCE ACTING ON IT.

BECAUSE

THE MORE FORCE WE WILL APPLY THE MORE CHANGE IN VELOCITY WILL OCCUR AND THE MORE MOMENTUM WILL CHANGE
f =  \frac{p}{t}  \\ f = p

hey dear!!
here is Ur answer..

The momentum of an object increase when a force acting upon it because force is causing it to accelerate and to have an increase in velocity. Therefore the change of momentum is directly proportional to the force acting on it.

Hope it helps u!!
