straight conductor-carrying current, (ii) force experienced by a current-carrying
straight conductor placed in a magnetic field which is perpendicular to it, and

Answer:

(i) Maxwell's right-hand thumb rule: Magnetic field produced around a straight conductor carrying current. The Maxwell right-hand thumb rule indicates the direction of the magnetic field in a direction of the current.

(ii) Fleming's left hand rule gives us the force experienced by a straight current carrying conductor placed in a magnetic field perpendicular to it. The rule states that, stretch the forefinger, the central finger and the thumb of the left hand mutually perpendicular to each other.

Fleming's right hand rule gives the direction of induced current in a coil due to it's rotation in amagnetic field
