Rule to determine the direction of a

1)Magnetic field produced around a straight conductor carrying current is given by right hand palm rule 1 or right hand thumb rule or by maxwell right handed skew rule.

The  rule states that stretch your right hand and thumb in direction of current and fingers directed towards a point where magnetic field is determined then direction of magnetic field is normal and away from palm.

2)Force experienced by current carrying straight conductor placed in magnetic field perpendicular to it is given by fleming left hand rule or by right hand palm rule 2.

Right hand palm rule 2 states stretch your right hand and thumb must be in plane of palm fingers in direction of magnetic field and thumb in direction of charge particle so if charge is + force is away from palm and -then towards the palm.

3)Current induced in a coil due to rotation in magnetic field given by right hand thumb rule similar to part1.
