The find the direction of magnetic field in a current carrying conductor we use ' RIGHT HAND THUMB RULE '

Right hand thumb rule :- let us suppose that you are carrying a current carrying conductor in your right hand such that thumb points towards direction of current flowing in the conductor, the curls of the finger will show the direction of magnetic field produced
