S.i.=g/{cm}^{3}

c.g.s=kg/{m}^{3}

1000 kg/{m}^{3}=1 gm/{cm}^{3}

density is mass divided by volume which is mass divided by cube of length ....therefore density in cha unit must be expressed by the number of grams per cubic cm ( symbol g/cm cube ) . in si mass and length have base units kilogram and meter respectively
