Answer:

The central nervous system is the first nervous system that include the brain and the spinal cord and the second nervous system is the peripheral nervous system  which include the nerves in the body that lie outside of the spinal cord and brain. The nerves in peripheral nervous system connects the central nervous system to sensory organs such as the eye and ear and to other organs of the body, muscles, blood vessels and glands.

The components of peripheral nervous system are the somatic nervous system and the autonomic nervous system.

The somatic nervous system is the part of the peripheral nervous system which is the entire nervous system outside of the brain and spinal cord, which associate with voluntary control of body movements via skeletal muscles so somatic nervous system is also known as voluntary nervous system.

The autonomic nervous system is always activated in either symphathetic or parasympathetic state. The division of the autonomic nervous system is known as the enteric nervous system which locate only around the digestive tract. The autonomic nervous system controls  the involuntary movements of the body.

Thus, the type of movements  controlled by each of them is the main difference between somatic and autonomic nervous system.
