=> In recent years the courts have given several judgements and directives to protect public interest and human rights.

(1) Anyone can approach the court if public interest or Amy other fundamental rights has been violated by the actions of the government. This is called Public Interest Litigation.

(2) The courts intervene to prevent the misuse of the governments power to make decisions . They check malpractices on the part of the officials.

Thus, we can say that - Introduction of Public Interest Litigation is a significant step in ensuring justice to all is justified.
