A) Adrenaline : It is secreted from the adrenal medulla. It has many functions like it strongly increases heart rate, it constricts all blood vessles, but it dilates coronary vessels and vessels of sekeletal muscles.
B) Thyroxine : It is secreted from the Thyroid gland. It has many functions like it increases BMR, it increases blood sugar level in general condition, it increases the rate and depth of respiration.
C) Growth Hormone : It is secreted from the anterior pituitary gland. It has many functions like it helps in skeletal growth, stimulates muscular growth and growth in other body organs, it causes loss of body fat by mobilising depot fat, it helps in the metabolism and retention of minerals, etc.
D) Testosterone : It is secreted from testis (site of secretion : Interstitial cells of Leydig in testis). It stimulates growth and development of primary and secondary sex characters, it causes puberty, it stimulates RBC formation, etc.
E) Oestrogen : It is secreted from the ovary (sex organ or gonad in female). More clearly, oestrogen is a female sex hormone which is actually secreted from the Graafian follicles of ovary. It stimulates growth, development and functional activities of primary and secondary sex organs in females. It also regulates menstrual cycle and stimulates breast development.
F) Insulin : It is secreted from the beta-cells () of Islets of Langerhans of pancreas. It stimulates glycogenesis and presents neoglucogenesis. It lowers blood sugar level. Insulin decreases the lipid and cholesterol in blood.
