Tectonic plates are the plates which is above the mantle. The tectonic plates

are shaking always but we can not feel

or hear the sound of earthquake but when their is a reaction in the core of the earth the waves from the core comes out and the tectonic plates start shaking is called earthquake The point where the earthquake terminates the point is called center point .
