Hey dikshita ;-)
According to your question
========================

We need to to Know first what is dual control switch so let's explore !

Dual control switch. =>
=================

A Dual control switch has four terminals and two connective bars. This allows one switching motion to make or break two disparate loads and feeds. When the switch is in the on position the Line A is continuous with load A, and Line B is continuous with Load B. In the off position both A and B are open.

Working of a dual control switch =>
============================
The last common switch to mention is a Dual control switch , but with a center off position. This is commonly used for Hand Off Automatic operation of machines, or Forward Reverse control. In this style switch there are three possible handle positions. In position 1, Line is connected to output A. In position 2, Line is disconnected from both outputs. And in position 3, Line is connected to output B. This setup guarantees that Output A and B are not simultaneously energized, even for a moment, and allows a fully deenergized state for any loads.

Hope this help you

Explanation:

Dual control switches are the double pole type switches which are generally used at the top and bottom of a starcase, or at the opposite ends of a long corridor, etc. With such switches, the appliance (say, a bulb) can be switched on or off from, two different places
