prokaryotic- no defined nucleus whereas eukaryotic cells have a defined nucleus, prokaryotic cells have 1 strand of chromatin fibre whereas eukaryotic cells have alot of them, prokaryotic cells have no cell organelles whereas eukaryotic cells have organelles
