The main difference between the primary and secondary cells is that primary cells are designed to be used in once only i.e. it is used till its chemical mixtures have power and after that it becomes useless as for ex: dry cells of torch and watch etc.
While the secondary cells undergo reversible reactions and thus they can be recharged if once the power is finished. For ex: car batteries etc.
