two advantages of plotting velocity time graph are
-------------------------
1)its slope will give us the acceleration of the particle
2)the area under the graph will give us the displacement of the particle

In velocity time graph, time is taken on the X axis and Velocity is on Y axis.
From the velocity time graph , we can determine :
⇒The displacement of the body in a certain time interval :
The area enclosed between velocity time graph gives displacement.
since displacement = velocity x time
⇒The acceleration of the body :
The slope of velocity time graph gives us acceleration.
If slope is positive, it is accelerated motion.
If slope is negative it is decelerated motion.
