in eukaryotic transcription different RNA polymerase enzymes are required for different RNA molecules ( RNA polymerase I for rRNA, RNA polymerase II for mRNA and RNA polymerase III for tRNA synthesis) whereas, for prokaryotic transcription one type of RNA polymerase synthesizes all the forms of RNA molecules.
prokaryotic transcription does not need any initiation factor or proteins for the initiation of the process but eukaryotic transcription does require different proteins or initiation factors.
