Experiment 1:

Fill one third  of a cup with water. Now place an index card on the mouth of the cup. Turn it upside down. You will find that the index card sticks onto the cup and doesn't let the water spill. This is because  there is more air pressure exerted from the outside than the air pressure exerted by water.

Experiment 2:

When you use a straw to drink, you will find that the drink is pushed upward due to the air pressure from your mouth.

Answer:

(i) When we fill air in a balloon it inflates due to pressure exerted by air. Also when it is overfilled with air it bursts due to excess air pressure.

(ii) When we hang a banner in a place of moving fast air, it tears due to the pressure exerted by the air.
