1.Leydig cells in testis secretes testosterone that initiates spermatogenesis. Follicle stimulating hormone stimulates the production of androgen binding protein by Sertoli cells which is essential to concentrate testosterone in seminiferous tubule to initiate and maintain spermatogenesis. The hormone inhibin decrease the levels of follicle stimulating hormone. Luteinizing hormone also acts on leydig cells for the secretion of testosterone.
2.Oxytocin is considered as milk ejecting hormone after the birth of the baby.

The two functions of oxytocin are:-
1)In women, oxytocin is responsible for the contraction of the womb during childbirth and lactation.
2)It is used to stimulate uterine contractions in a woman with an incomplete or threatened miscarriage.
