A human eye is myopic if it can see the near by objects clearly but unable to see far off objects clearly.

\textbf{Causes }:

Elongation of eye ball

The excessive curvature of cornea.

\textbf{Correction}:

Concave lens of suitable focal length is used to correct myopia or short sightedness.
