State two reasons why most people depend on the agriculture

Agriculture is most important because if there is no agriculture there is no food. If there is no food there is no living organisms. here are a number of reasons behind the same. Also, without depending on agriculture a nation cannot survive.

1) it provides food for expanding population and fodder for a livestock.

2) it generates working capital for non agricultural development, supplies raw materials for agro based industries like textile, sugar, food processing, Vanaspati, etc.

3) it was a large part of the market for industrial goods, especially the farm inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, implements, machinery, etc.

4) it provides employment to millions of people.
