Newton's law of gravitation, statement that any particle of matter in the universe attracts any other with a force varying directly as the product of the masses and inversely as the square of the distance between them.

They are:-

• It keeps us on the earth so that we can live on the earth and not flying someone else in the atmosphere and space.

• It maintains the motion of motion of all the planets around the sun and moon around the earth.

• It pulls all the object towards the earth
