Water is driven out from the hydrated copper sulphate when it is heated. The color of the crystals slowly turns from blue to white .This is becoz heat causes the crystals to lose their water of crystallization which gives them the blue color. This reaction when heated with water is reversible ,i.e,the white crystals can change colour back to blue when a few drops of water r added. A mist of water droplets formed on the upper cooler portion of any apparatus .it changes from crystalline to amorphous.
