State what will happen when human red blood cells are placed in hypotonic salt & sugar solution

If a Red Blood Cell is placed in a hypotonic solution, water will rush in and it will explode. If it is placed in a hypertonic solution, water will diffuse out and cause cell shrinkage and injury.
