Both the sets do not have even one element in common. Hence the sets X and Y are disjoint.

Answer :
Disjoint sets are those sets in which none of the elements of one set matches with that of Other.
Therefore , Disjoint sets have no common element .

Since there are no common elements in Set X and Set Y
  hence they are Disjoint sets!!

Hope this helps You!!

Thank You!!
