This would lead to reduction in plant species as there would be more herbivores to eat them and thus it would create a huge mess of the ecosystem. The pesticides and chemicals are absorbed by plant from the soil and enter the food chain.

I don't know much in general...

If the share of carnivores were to reduce in the ecosystem, then the herbivores would increase in number. This would lead to reduction in plant species as there would be more herbivores to eat them and thus it would create a huge mess of the ecosystem.
