we know that kinetic energy of an object is given by
K=1/2mv^2
differentiating with respect to time t,we get,
dk/dt=d/dt(1/2mv^2)
dk/dt=1/2m2vdv/dt
dk/dt=Mav [a=dv/dt]
dk/dt=f×dx/dt
dk=fdx.
therefore,total work done -
kf-ki=W
