Statistics is merely a tool that is available to the scholars to supplement their researches and to prove their outcomes in an affirmative manner. Sometimes, many users use statistics to meet the already-drawn results. This is what is technically termed as 'data mining or data manipulation'. This leads to distrust, as statistics is being used biasedly to influence the outcomes. Hence, in such cases, statistics is regarded as clay, which can be used by a user either to draw the actual and true outcome (i.e. compared to God) or can be used to influence the already-drawn conclusions (i.e. compared to devil).
