Statistics studies numerical data that is collected in a systematic manner or in scientific way , signifies it is a science. Where’s it relates to quantitative and qualitative facts, describes real life problems, proved it as an art.

In others it may say that statistics is a science of collecting , organising, analysing, presenting and interpreting numerical data for the purpose an efficient decision making. While, contrarily, it is also considered to be an art in which skills are refer to handle the facts, so as to achieve the desired objective.

Thus , it can be said that statistics is a science as well as an art.
