True, but to some extent. Making statistics results requires mathematics for calculating the outcome and to present the result in the form of graphics. However the person looking at the results doesn't specifically require to have complex maths knowledge.

  • A data that is to be represented as statistics should be represented numerically so that the information can be calculated and measured.
  • A data to be considered as statistics must be represented numerically so that information can be calculated and measured. It means that the information or the evidence to represent the figures must be able to be represented as in the form weights such as 50, 70, 40 or 90 Kg in any numerical manner or Rs. 16,000, Rs. 20,000, and so on.  Therefore, these data must consist of the numerical figures to be described as facts of numerical statement.
