This statue ' Statue of Unity ' is dedicated to the former Deputy Prime Minister Sardar vallabhai stands to the south east of Vadodar City. It's also to be noted that it has become the World's tallest statue standing high with 182 metres length. It was dedicated to the Iron Man on behalf of the nation by Current Prime minister Shri Narendra modi on 30th October, 2018 , which was also the 143rd birth Anniversary of Vallabhai Patel . This day, 30th October is also commemorated as Rashtriya Ekta divas.

The Statue of Unity is on the river Narmada, 100 kilometres southeast of the city of Vadodara.
It is the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
It is the world’s tallest statue with a height of 182 metres.
It was designed by the famous Indian sculptor Ram. V. Sutar.
It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 31st on October 2018.
