steam has more energy than water at 100 C. give reason.

steam molecules can invest the energy supplied by heat moving in three dimensions (kinetic energy), liquid molecules below invest heat in precisely turning into vapor so the system can have take more energy but increasing it's entropy.

Because steam has latent heat of vaporization.
this mean that steam at 100 C contains more heat energy than water at 100 C
