steel is said to be better elastic than rubber .then why do we use rubber chords in pyzamas ???

steel is better than elastic because its strong and rigid but it doesn't stretch ...but will elastic will stretch ...

$\underline \bold {Because}$ steel is rigid and very much hard as compared to rubber and on the other hand rubber is very soft and flexible so that's why we use rubber.
